Only five days to go before July 15th, which is the registration deadline. Right now it looks like about 30 will be attending the JunkYardDog Adventure this year.

Four days for a first class letter to go from Portland to Eagle Point...a distance of around 280 miles? You could do that on a fast mule in four days! And, the USPS uses airplanes and trucks!
Okay dudes, only three days left to register for the annual JunkYardDog Adventure!

Not a chance! I will be going to Mrs. Q's the day before the JunkYardDog Adventure starts to "check" things out, so there won't be much left to nibble on when you get there the following day. This old mutt likes to eat ya know! Arf, Arf!

NOTICE: For those of you who have registered for the 2005 Junkyard Dog Adventure, please check out the new tour schedule that has been uploaded to page one of this thread. As you can see on the current tour schedule, the barbecue on Friday has been moved from Merlin, Oregon to the JunkYardDog World Headquarters in Eagle Point, and all of the tours for Saturday have been rescheduled. Three tours have been added to Saturday's schedule and the tour to the Main Antique Mall has been cancelled. To accommodate all of the tours for Saturday, please note that breakfast at Mrs. Q's has been moved up one-half hour earlier to 7:30 AM.
You might want to print out this updated tour schedule and bring it with you in August. See you then!

Yep...it's the 15th and it looks like we are going to have two more dudes sign up today....Kepi Doodle and son.
Depending upon how many will be coming from the local car club, we might have as many as 40 dudes attending this year's JunkYardDog adventure, and possibly even more at the barbecue on Friday evening.

The July 15th deadline has come and gone, and at this time we officially have 33 dudes registered (not counting those from the local "CASO" car club) for this year's annual Junkyard Dog Adventure in Southern, Oregon.
Guys will be attending from Oregon, Washington, California, Connecticut, and Australia.
Thanks to all of you who have signed up! The Old Mutt and his crew are looking forward to seeing you all the 18th of August, and be prepared for lots of fun and excitement during this four day adventure!

Only 18 days to go for the 2005 Junkyard Dog Adventure. We have 34 dudes registered and many of them are well known on Chevy Chatter.
At present we are working on the menu for the Junkyard Dog barbecue on Friday evening of the tour. Looks like around 40 people will be attending that event. Ice cold draft beer will be served as well and "pop" will be available for the sissies too!
A good time is planned, however the weather man indicates that the temperatures will be over the 100 degree mark each day so be prepared.
For the car show at Lost Creek Lake on Sunday, over 300 cars are expected. We are planning on having a special area under the big shade trees roped off for all of the Junkyard puppies so don't forget to bring some chairs to sit on, and a picnic lunch as well. However, there will be a concession stand at the lake so you can purchase food and drinks there instead if you desire.

I am not going to miss it this year. Looking forward to meeting up with you all and putting face to the name. It all sounds like a 4 day party to me. I will have 2 days extra to get over it before heading home as well. See you all on the 18th. Tony

Tony: You will meet a lot of fellows at the JunkYardDog Adventure this year that you will recognize from Chevy Chatter. Some of those attending will be: "1931Sal", "42bill", "Antique Mechanic", "Chevrolet", "1932Confederate", "PDXJoe", "The Filling Station Steve", and others too! Even Billy Boy Barker is working on trying to make it again this year.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Medford Airport on the afternoon of August 17th.
