Right on DdeuceMan, I think that If I put a collar around his neck and wave some dog bones at him, He may go one more time to the portland swap meet, That Is If they even have another swap meet?? It sounds to me that this may have been the last one In portland.

Please don't post any unfounded rumors. We have enough problems with the ones already started.

Hum.......the last time that this old dog went to the Portland swap meet he had parking permit number one!!!! Now, that's dedication!! You guys remember that don't you? You know, when they used to have parking at the swap meet and you could walk back and forth to your car or camper with all of your goodies all day long and ya didn't have to use a shuttle bus. Ya, I know, that was a long time ago though, but this old mutt was a dedicated Portland swapper back then. Those days were known as BDATBBR..."Before Donald and the Big Buck Restoration".

Anyway Donald, I had my own little swap meet here this past Saturday. I got on eBay, and found four 1932 Trico mirrors, three windshield defrosters, a Breeze Filter, two sets of mud flaps, a set of spring covers, a smoker kit, two wiper motors, a right-hand side inside sun visor, a new old stock in the box passenger side trumpet horn, and other really cool goodies. And, all that without even leaving my living room! So.......how was your day Donald???? ha ha!

Hey Junkyard Dog, I have all of those parts, How many of each would you like to buy. Also I have many model T parts you may need for your restoration.

Sorry Donald, but you are the only one that puts Model T parts on a Chevrolet. And, that's probably why you have had soooooo many problems with your '32 Chevy during it's restoration. Hum.......the Model T dudes that worked on the car didn't do the car any good either. ha ha!

Regarding the portland swap meet, While talking to the DeFords and other club members working the portland swap meet, I was told that this very well may be the last year for the portland swap meet, Because there Is a good chance that It may move to the fairgrounds In vancouver where there Is parking for 7000 cars and that the rental cost for the use of the fair grounds Is alot cheaper, And that they would save alot of money by not having to rent buses to get people to and from the meet, Let alone all the traffic congestion. At the Information booths they were having people fill out Questionaires about what they thought about moving the meet to vancouver. It sounds to me that they have a good plan In progress.

Cruise night last night, I mentioned this possible change of venue to a regular attender of the swap meet. His comment "They would not dare to move it" course what can you expect from a F*** Flathead V-8 owner. By the way JunkYardDogJunkYardDog what does Alvira think about this?

She doesn't care since she really isn't into those kinds of swap meets. "Victoria Secret" is more her thing! \:D \:D ;\)
