Seller says: "This is the first factory radio for the Chevrolet. Model number 364441." Is this the radio that came out in Dec. of '32? I wish there really was a radio for the '32. If you have a '33 and would like to see it go here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34206&item=2416010558 But I'm not even sure this is a '33, Ray is the Radio man for Chevys.

.....and can be retro-fitted back to any year auto that has a 6volt electrical battery system, I guess you could put one on a buggy if you installed a battery, and a windcharger! My Dad said that radios before 1935 were useless, you could not hear rhem going down the road and all they did when you were Parkin' and 'a-sparking they quickly ran the battery down. Of course I disagreed with him because at the time I was installing a new Western Auto Economy model radio in my Model "A" Ford, next Saturday night I had to push the car a few hundred feet to a downhill run to get a rolling start because , You guessed it, the six volt was dead. (I had also covered up the crank hole with a Chrome one piece bumper) :p

So maybe it is good that there aren't any radios in the '32's. Saves me money and sweat pushing my car down hills (hills? Florida?).

Remember fellows, I was only 14 years old, and my comb was running bright red, at the time! also I think the one piece Chrome bumper came off of a 1933 or a 1935 Chevrolet. from a junk yard. I had to do some blacksmithing to get it to fit the Ford, and I was not about to pull it off after all the trouble of fitting it to the Model A.

Just an old codger, with memories, and trying to make some more.
