Hi Big Green 48, Thanx for doing the site on commercial vehicles. Most of the 37 Chevs I drive are classified as "Commercial" or "Utility". I've posted photos of some of them on the website /~c1937/>. Keep up the good work, Lou

Yes Biggreen48 I changed the name. However it has been so long since I talked to you I forgot what it was. I'll have to look up the numbers again, I remember giving them to you and that was what you said. The truck was a Rice Truck here in Louisiana.

I just bought a 1937 1 1/2 ton Panel. Not much information out there. Any pictures or information will be appreciated. I got spoiled by mt Model AA Fords because there is so much information and so many parts available. Bruce

I have several. My 1954 3800 is currently under the wrench and looks like this with quite a bit of progress since the photo. I also have a 1955 1st Series 5700 COE which is next for restoration. And I recently purchased this 1955 1st Series 6400 which is a running driving truck just for fun and small work projects. The 6400 has a hoist, a 261 and electric wipers, a first for trucks in 1954. I also have a 1955 1st Series Suburban which was originally a work truck for the original owner so I'm counting it as a commercial vehicle.
