Does any of you know of a web site similar to the V.C.C.A. chat room but for vintage American LaFrance Fire trucks. The company I work for has its own fire department and they have an old American LaFrance that some of the members would like to restore. I told one of the firemen about this website and what a great help it is and how nice it would be for them if they had a site to go to for help like this one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks......Bill

Hey John,
Thanks for adding the information.
Buy the way, Welcome to Chatter II. You seemed to have picked up real quick.
Enjoy, and come back often.

I have a 1946 Ford Maxim fire truck built by Luverne Fire Apparatus Company when it was in Luverne, MN. My fire truck is in pristine condition. Only 3600 miles onit. Probably most of those were accrued going to parades.
I haven't mentioned it on this site because it isn't a Chevy. There are some things I would like to discuss about it, if that is kosher here.

Lee, I think you'll do better on the following website: http://www.spaamfaa.org/We're pretty much purely Chevys here. Good luck with it -- your truck sounds interesting. All the Best, Chip
