on our '40 kc 1/2ton, we're trying to straighten out all the systems that run through the firewall, such as wiring, speedo cable, vacuum tubing, etc...

previous owner(s) have rewired and we're not confident that everything is run correctly...we want to get it put right and install correct grommets...

currently, there are six holes used...to describe them, I'll use the four-hole, oval grommet in the center as our reference point (hole size refers to sheet metal punched size, as some grommets are missing)...

two (one under an inch, one larger than an inch) are on the passenger side of the firewall, and higher than the oval hole...

two (again one smaller, one larger than an inch) are on the driver side, higher than the oval hole...

the sixth hole is on the driver side, lower than the oval hole...

looking from the engine side, and moving left to right (from passenger side to driver), I'll describe what is currently running where:

1. ~3/4" hole; wiring from terminal of starter...

2. ~1.125" hole; electrolock coil (metal clad), plus wire from terminal of starter...

3. oval, four-hole grommet; choke cable, throttle cable, oil pressure sender, & temperature sender...

4. ~3/4" hole; vacuum manifold to wiper tubing, plus 2 horn wires...

5. ~1" hole; speedometer cable (metal clad)...

6. ~1.125" hole; main wiring harness...

thanks for any help you can provide to sort this out...
