1954 Chev 3800 mechanical fuel pump question.
On the bottom of my pump there are 2 connectors (outlets/inlets). One for the vacuum windshield wiper, and the other goes to the intake manifold. Can I block both of the off with out doing any damage? I have converted to electric windshield wipers and the other had what looked like oil spitting out of it.Are there any other uses for these lines?
HELP NEEDED
THANKS,Richard

Hi richard,

Go ahead and plug the holes. This will keep the dirt out and the oil in.

If you need a fuel pump kit for this pump or a rebuild on that one contact Terrill Machine Co. in DeLeon, Texas, he advertises in the G&D and also in Hemmings.
