Looks like an all original car, except for the misplaced right hand tail light.

Maybe Gator means the wrong tailight lens. Actually, it looks like they both were borrowed from a '35-36.
But I do like looking at "barn fresh" cars. Thanks Gator.

Looks like the RH light is too high up on the fender to me.IMHO

She does look like a fairly solid car to start a restoration on...

The spare tire is mounted in the wrong rotation also.

How do you know the tires were rotated?
I get it, you noticed the locking band is missing too.

The valve stem on the spare should be at the top. The picture shows it at the lower right.

Actually, if you want to get down to the knitty gritty, the valve stems should be 180 degrees from the script on the tires, and the hub caps should be installed with the Chevrolet Bow Tie parallel (or 90 degrees) between the valve stems and the script on the tires. ha ha! ;\) \:D \:D \:D

Quick guys grab anything that floats. It sure is getting deep.

Actually the valve stem should line up with the colored dot or mark on the tire sidewall. You must align when the tires are new as the mark will be washed or worn off in a short time. It is a little known balance mark on the tires. Check your owners and/or repair manuals for the 30s and earlier Chevys.

Yes, the valve stem is supposed to line up with the dot on the tire to balance the tire. However, in several car judging circles, the valve stem is supposed to be perpendicular to the tire script. \:D \:D \:D

I know what you are thinking Raymondo, but it is not in the VCCA!! A friend of mine is a Master Judge for the Model A Club of America and he indicated that the valve stem must be perpendicular to the tire script if there is no "dot" on the tire, along with having
"F O R D" script on the headlight bulbs and so forth. Also, I have been to several concourse judging events in California where it was also required that the valve stems be perpendicular to the tire script and that the hubcap logo must be parallel to both. \:D \:D \:D

Ya, I thought so too since at the concourse judging they go more for looks than for accuracy, and they want the tires, stems and hubcaps to look symmetric I guess. \:D \:D \:D

.....Well something else for me to worry about, I bet they won't like my JC Whitney chromed exhaust tip with the neon lights any better than the modified Olds spinners on the 21" disk wheels, they sure look cool under the modified 1941 Zepher fender skirts on the old '28 sedan!
