1932 WIPER MOTOR AND WIPER TRANSMISSION FOR SALE EMAIL DON AT DONNYS 32AOL JIMS COMPUTER HAS A VIRUS AND IS OUT OF COMMISSION AT THIS TIME

Don, I replied to this fellow a couple of months ago and told him I was in the need of a wiper motor and if he would sell just the motor or did he want to sell it as a pair. Either way I was a buyer, but he never replied to my e-mail. I did find another motor,and repaired my transmission. What gives with this Guy.

Don, Thanks for the info, I was bummed out and in need of both. My transmission was in need of help and the motor that was on the car was not the original. The one I bought was not working so I sent it to Fickens wiper service and it came back just like new. (WWW.wiperman) The service was great and in no time it was back. This 32 is quite an education just trying to find parts, I'm either a day late or $100 bill short. Ha Ha.

Don, Will do, trying to make a decision on the rear seat, wood is in tough shape and also the spring assy, outside of that my next move is with Hampton Coach for the interior. I shouldn't say that, theres always someting else..

LEO HAMPTON COACH IS WHAT I HAVE AND IT IS PERFECT. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS WITH THE UPHOLSTERY SHOP WHO INSTALLED THE KIT. THEY DID NOT FOLLOW HAMPTONS INSTRUCTIONS AND DID A COUPLE THINGS WRONG. HAMPTON COACH SPENT A GREAT AMOUNT OF TIME HELPING ME CORRECT THE PROBLEMS AND SENDING ME MORE MATERIAL. AS FOR THE SEAT WOOD, YOU SHOULD CALL JIM RODMAN AS HE PROBABLY HAS WHAT YOU WANT. Don, Talked to Jim Rodman and he has the back portion of the seat, sending him the lower frame so he will have a pattern and then ship all of it back.

Jim, Talked with Hampton Coach will probably head up there to order the kit, Had to ask JunkYardDog again for the proper colors and again he came through with flying colors.

JunkYardDog, I know your aroud here some place, did you get your new centerfold??

If ya mean the one on the video tape, ya I just finished watching it! The best part was at the end of the tape!!! But, it would have been better if you would have left off the '32 Chevy stuff and had just all blondes and Elvira on the tape! By the way.....I don't think that Hampton Coach has the material for Trim Number 20, so you might have to go with something else!

Hi Chevy, I know he growls a lot, When I had problems with my rebuilt 32 engine, he told me to get it out of the machine shop....RIGHT NOW. He was right, you don't send an old engine to someone who hasn't a clue about the old timers. But he is always there bailing me out of these messes I get into. You just have to throw the old dog a bone once in a while and pat him on the head and he simmers down. Ha Ha

MR MACK I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE JUNKYARD DOG GROWLS AND HOWLS ALOT, BUT I REALLY THINK ITS HIS BETTER HALF THAT KEEPS HIM UNDER CONTROL. I HAVE HEARD THAT HE SPENDS SO MUCH TIME IN THE DOGHOUSE, THAT HE DOESNT HAVE TIME TO WORK ON HIS CHEVYS. Hey Ed: A friend of mine also emailed Jim about the up coming four-cylinder tour here in Oregon in August, and he has not received a reply either. He mentioned that he would be surprised if he did receive a reply! So, if you do get a response let us know.

Update: Just heard from a friend of mine who emailed Jim over three weeks ago, and he still has not received a response! Did you fellows ever hear back from Jim regarding that 1932 wiper motor that he had for sale??

I had also e-mailed Jim a few weeks ago and as yet have not received a reply. Anyone have 32 coupe windshield wiper motor that they don't need?

I might see Jim tomorrow and I'll ask him how much he wants for the wiper, then I'll buy it and post it for sale here.... hummmm.... how much do you think my commi$$ion should be? ha ha

Seriously, if I see him at the tour tomorrow, I'll tell him to answer his dang email.

After my initial inquiry, Donny had sent me a couple of direct e-mails about it. Nothing from Jim. Les, I'm in the same boat. I have one that Ficken tried to restore, but no luck. Bill, my main inquiry was understanding if it's in some kind of working condition now that could lead to the assumption that Ficken could restore it fully.

Hey Billy Boy Barker! Thanks for helping the guys out by checking with Jim about this wiper motor. I'm sure that they would appreciate it. Sure....they can also contact good old Donald like he mentioned, but after he hits the Budweiser, Donald may be asking Jim about a Model T coil box instead, so thanks for your help on this Billy Boy.

To give good credit where it's due, Donny has been very prompt and helpful in relaying info to me. (No Ford talk either, JunkYardDog...)

Hey Ed! Amazing.....because Donald emailed me last night (ya, he is always prompt about returning emails) and he was talking about an Edsel in his email! At $80, if the wiper motor is restorable, that sounds like a good buy since those puppies are so hard to get....good ones anyway. Good luck Les!

Les, I have my restored original that functions passably enough for inspection, but it sounds like you need any one right now. If so, please go ahead and contact Donny about it. I'm not planning to drive in the rain, and I'm sure I'll find another down the road.

HI LES I NOW HAVE THE WIPER MOTOR ON MY WORK BENCH, I GOT IT FROM JIM TO CHECK OUT. THE OUTSIDE IS PAINTED, BUT YOU WOULD NEED TO REMOVE ALL OF IT AND REDUE. THE TWO POSTS ARE FINE,NO CRACKS. IT HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR YEARS AND WHEN I HOOKED IT UP I COULD HARDLY GET IT TO MAKE THE WIPER MOVE JUST A LITTLE. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE REBUILT BY FICKEN AND THEN IT SHOULD BE LIKE NEW. AGAIN THE OUTSIDE IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH NO CRACKS AND THE TWO POSTS,THAT YOU SOMETIMES FIND BROKEN, ARE GOOD.
