There is a 1918 D-5 V-8 listed in the October issue of hemmings. The ad claims that the car has original paint, upholstery and top. Ad also claims that the car has been in a collectors hands for 60 years. Asking price is $40,000.
I have always said that an early V-8 is my dream car, but an HPOCF V-8 car would be the best!
I tried to convince my wife that if we sold all of our cars, we might not need to take out a second mortgage out on the house to get the money. She thinks that she has more common sence than I do.....

The picture of the V-8 was listed under the "pre-16" area. The description was for the Model T.
