I would like to learn more about the 1918 Chevy V8; where would I find information on this motor?

I have done the web search and there isn't a lot that I can find there.

Thanks.

The best source for the 1917-19 V8 engine data is in the Chevrolet Service Manual [1919 edition].
Gary Wallace has this available for $24 at the below link:

Thanks guys, JunkYardDogJunkYardDog I think the area with information on the V8 might be "out of service" right now on that site...or I can't find it??

I got into a discussion with a guy at a car show last week about V8's, he was of the opinion that Olds had the first V8 and that Chevy only had a V8 starting in '55, couldn't believe Chevy had one in '18.

Here is a pic of one that I found on the web.

1918 Chevy V8

Do you think there will be one (or more) at the National Show this year?
