Somehow it seems a little sad that this forum doesn't get much use but, of course, there aren't that many 1917-1919 Chevy V-8s out there. Anyway, as moderator, I thought I'd put something here. Having a bit of time on my hands, I took an old line drawing and got out my PhotoShop crayons to produce the photo here. Enjoy!

Thanks Tom, however you did it, it looks great! I see a lot of these cars listed in the National Directory, hopefully some of the owners will not be bashful and leap onto the cyber space version of their VCCA!

The photo is great, I have saved it and would like your permission to use it in the up coming car club newsletter. I always try to save some space and reproduce a members car, some unique ad or photo of a club activity in our news letter.

Glynn, Of course you have my permission to use the picture however you want. This is a line drawing that I found in my old book "Sixty Years Of Chevrolet" (I think the current edition is 75 years!). I chose the drawing because I didn't want to impinge on anyone's copyright of a more current photo. I'm glad you like it.

Well, of course, this Chummy left the factory wearing Chevrolet Green. I suppose the snappily dressed owner/driver, being able to afford to pay over $1000 for a car in the first place, chose to have his car repainted blue so as not to clash with milady's penchant for wearing lavender!
