i need to have the speedometer on my 48 set back and serviced,any recommended technicians out there,chef-

Check your phone book for a local speedometer repair shop.There are a few left in large cities.I took mine to one here in the Milwaukee area and had good results.The 1948 speedo. isn't that much different than the last cable driven ones used on modern cars.
