Here is the final news brief on my "quest for the rings":
A gentleman who read about my problem and who had done business with Kessler's for over 30 years emailed me. He gathered all of the facts and called the orginal Mr. Kessler, several days later I got the parts via the big brown truck. THANK YOU, SIRS!! To all of the others who have helped and given me surport, I give you my thanks. There is a bond of help and friendship between people who love old chevys.
This has been a very strange journey for me, even with the positive ending of my getting the parts, I still feel that something else has been lost by me, you, and others.
So as I stated in my posting, my final opinion would be "...I guess the new management was just slow in getting my order to me..."

Hello all,
Figured I'd put in my 2 cents worth here. It truly is a shame that what sounds like it used to be an honest company has been turned over to a real jerk (not the word I wanted to use, but I'm toning it down for here).
Hahn does not seem to care one way or another if he does the business or not. He waited two and a half weeks to put my id tag I bought into the mail, and charged me 8X the cost as a 'shipping' charge. My phone calls to him went without reply, e-mail was even worse, and he was absolutely horrendous to deal with on the phone, actually hanging up on me when I told him that if I did not receive the item I would seek redress through Paypal and Ebay.
I hope that he is not a VCCA member. Every member I have met so far has been wonderful to deal with, very interested in making sure that these old beauties get back on the road. Hahn just doesn't give a damn.
Gator, I'm glad you got your rings. The tactics he tried to pull don't surprise me from my dealings with him. I won't let that happen anymore.
