Your vehicle is either a 1927 or 1928. The engine is definitely 1928. The mileage shown on a 4 cylinder car is not meaningful as they are potmetal and crumbled years ago.

I just checked the profile on "ianrobinson" and find he is a newbee. Perhaps I was a bit critical for a first time user of the forum. My apologies are offered.

Perhaps if you plan to post something you are not clear about, you should check with another member to prevent this type criticism.

Anyway, ianrobinson, come on back and enjoy the forum, and a Merry Christmas to you.

There are about 20 Model T trucks known. This makes about 20 plus 1. If I didn't already own 1/2 of a '20 I might be interested. Fruita, CO is just 10 miles from Grand Junction. Maybe the owner can be talked into storing it until the Anniversary Meet in July.

I just saw one sell at auction for $1800 at an auction here in Northwest Ohio. It had belonged to Dick Walters (long time VCCA member) This one was complete, but it was a real project. My wife wouldn't even let me bid...
A man from Canada bought it, to park next to his restored one.

This is the second Model T that was auctioned off within 50 miles from my house in the past couple of years.

I understand that the one on ebay sold to a person in England. I contacted the seller requested he ask the buyer if he was interested in contacting other owners and/or the VCCA. Since there are several parts missing I would hope that he will agree to contact us.

I wonder if the buyer has worked out his shipping costs & import taxes?
It will cost him at least as much as the purchase price.
My last FS order cost $102....+ $40 shipping...+ $52 UPS handling charge...+ $34 taxes.
I don't hold much hope of the buyer becoming a member of the growing UK VCCA membership only 3 feedback.

Keep a stiff upper there kippers and sardines. When people understand the advantages of getting together with others with the same passion and vision miracles happen.
