A little learning is a dangerous thing; Drink deep, or taste not the
Pierian spring. There shallow draughts intoxicate the brain,
and drinking largely sobers us again

the radiator mounting plates on my National AB have partially rotted.
The side plates that bolt to the fan shroud / rad' surround, one bolt top & two bottom, looks as if there should be a steel strap at the bottom joining the two together & going under the radiator or is it a clip on either side?
The top of these two plates are angled with a lip.
The top radiator shroud is also angled & lipped but the angle is opposed to the side plate as thus, > , Should there then be a clip plate that slides over the two angles thus pulling the sides up? This would make sense if there is a strap below.
Does anyone know of other National AB's here in the UK? Thanks for your time.
