We have had good success with cutting a hole in top side (place covered by frame, body or otherwise out of sight), sandblasting clean, sweating on patch over hole and coating with alcohol resistant sealer. More that 1/2 the time it is necessary to replace the pickup tube which is easy when you have it opened up. May try to have one galvanized if I can find someone reasonable. _________________________ How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
