Does anyone know if Chevy 30x3 1/2 rear wheels are also compatible with Model T hubs? I bought a T chassis in parts, thinking I had **** rear wheels, and when I looked closer (and cleaned the grease off the hubcaps) they said Chevrolet. How hard are original Chevy wood wheels to find? These have rims and even ancient tires (that hold air, but I wouldn't drive on them for sure). I do have a nice "39 Chevy Pickup with 34000 original miles (I got it with 15000).Might be looking for a swap with the rear wheels (but not with the '39 pickup).

You may have Chevy hubcaps on T wheels. See if T caps fit the threads.

Chevy wood wheels are not too difficult to find. Value depends on condition, metal or wood fellow, if clincher or straight rim. Likely they are 490 but could be larger car or "T" truck if wider and beefier.

An easy way to tell "T" wheels from Chevy is the position of the valve stem hole. On the Chevrolet, it is located about 2 inches from the lug bolt. The "T" is about 6 inches.
