I added a lead additive to my gas tank and have noticed an improvement in my 28 engine. Runs much smoother. Am I just dreaming or does this stuff help? Any advice? Ricardo

Look on the label and see if it has methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol. Some other volatile hydrocarbons can help improve burn particularly for you guys at 3000+ ft. Increasing the small hole in the bottom of the low speed jet (idle tube) and the bottom of the multijet can also help at altitude. Increasing the gap on the spark plugs and advancing the timing will also help. The top two suggestions increase the fuel ratio a bit and the increased plug gap helps burn leaner mixtures.
