My 34 master sedan delivery came with imitation leather seats & door panels. According to the 1941 parts book the same material was used on 34, 35, & 36. Hampton coach can make up some of the pieces i will need but nobody there can tell me what the correct color was. Does anybody know of any sedan deliveries from these years that may still have a little of the original upholstery or can anybody shed a little lite on this subject? The sales brochure looks like a tan. Thanks, joe

In case anybody else was following this post, i've solved the interior mystery. A guy who has owned a 35 std since the early sixties sent me the remains of the LH door panel. It is black vinyl. I will send a sample to Hampton Coach for them to i.d.....Joe

The 1934-36 Sedan deliveries used the same material.This is listed in the yardage group 15.500.The book lists part #4068482 for the doors and side walls (was a thinner material) and 4068481 dor the seats.Color is not listed but black sounds logical.
Included models 34570,351271-71A,361271.All the Engineering books just describes it as imatation leather.....guess the problem is solved.Will have to make note of it

The 35 Sedan Delivery in my 35 Golden Book of Trucks shows the interior of the Sedan Delivery and the upholstery does not look black. The description says equipped with coach-type bucket seats trimmed in high grade imitiation leather. The picture is in black & white and the seats, door panels and sides & head liner all appear to be a lighter "brown" color and do not look any where near the black on the steering column, emergency brake or the gear shift lever.

The pictures i have are copies from an original sales brochure for the 34 master sedan delivery. It shows about 5 or six pictures & the interior shot is in medium tan. My guess is that was an advertising ploy because taking a picture of a black interior would just look like a black blob where the tan color shows the actual detail. I wish it was something other than black vinyl, but, it's not a street rod so black it is......joe

Chevrolet did that for the 34-35 trucks all the pictures in there adv. interiors are a brown color when the actual trucks are all green inside.
