If they have experience then there should be no problems. Only tricky part is to pull the windshield and rear window gaskets over the frame edge. Not too tough if the gasket is supple. They should water check for leaks before the job is complete.

If they have ever installed a wrap around windshield before there should be no problem.I do know as to how you feel though as I have been wanting to have the windshield in my '57 replaced. Is the glass company furnishing the glass? If they are then they are responsible if it would break.Let us know the results.
Thanks ChevyChip, this same company replaced the front window in my '55 pu and it leaked at the lower left corner, maybe this is what happened to it. They were more than 'happy' to fix the problem on the '55.
Good idea on doing a water test (this time).

Broken glass tastes better with salt on it ,but it still is hard to swallow.I installed a lot of glass in new fifty fives through sixty five cars .only had one break [a fifty nine Ford] it was in and sit there for about a half hour and snapped up yhe middle,no real reason ,the second one was fine.
I will have to look it up (forgot) got it from a company here in Florida, shipping costs played a big role in where to buy. Oversize glass costs a lot to ship.
