Okay, here we go: 1. The original paint on your car was Nitrocellulose Lacquer and you can still get it in the correct colors from Hybernia Auto Restorations in Hybernia, New Jersey. 2. The firewall was painted body color, Bangor Beige. 3. Your car came from the factory with blackwall tires as standard equipment. Whitewall tires could be added by the dealer as an aftermarket accessory. 4. All chassis parts are gloss black. 5. Both metal tire covers and cloth tire covers were offered in 1932 as a genuine Chevrolet accessory. On the cloth covers, there were two types. Black for standard models and Tan for Deluxe models. 6. Hub protectors and snap spokes were also a genuine Chevrolet accessory in 1932. The hub protectors ("rings") were installed on the wheel hub under the hub cap. This protected the paint on the hub when the hub caps were removed. The hub protectors also had a little "bow tie" emblem on each ring. Snap spokes were stainless steel spoke covers that were "snapped" on over each wire on the wheel to give the appearance of chromed wire wheels.
