Looking for replacement internal wiring for a 1932 headlight. Anyone know a source? Thank you.

Most dudes make their own. It isn't that hard to do if you have the original connectors and etc. Anyway, you can check with YnZ's or Rhode Island Wiring Service to see if they have what you need.

Confcoach,
If you are handy with a soldering iron you should be able to do it yourself as JD mentioned. If the 32 headlight is like a 35 headlight the contacts inside the socket (bulb) are nothing more than a tack that is soldered into a piece of stranded wire. Heat the contact and you should be able to remove the tack. When reassembling just push the cleaned up tack into the stranded wire and re-solder. I re-did both headlights on the 35 and haven't have any problems so far. Good luck........Bill

Another option is to use a brass or steel pop rivet. Take the center stud out and solder the wire where the stud was removed.

Please correct my method. I have cut the wire to length, leaving the end of wire fully insulated to end. I then coated the tacks with flux and inserted the tacks fully into the wire. Rested cup of tack on soldering iron and soldered. I found the melting point of the insulation and solder about the same. Seems intact insulation is important.

Thank you.

If I remember correctly, I left the insulation a little bit shorter so it wouldn't melt. After doing all three this way I had a short piece of heat shrink tubing on each one and warmed them up so they would shrink tight and close to the rivet.

I meant to say tack instead of rivet
