Hey Donald! As I mentioned to you in an email a few days ago, the brake extension lever was a 1935 accessory (late 1934 actually), not a 1932, and it was used thru 1938. The ball on the end of the lever was smiliar in color (actually no two were the same) to the accessory gearshift ball used in 1932. Sounds like you have been hitting the old Budweiser pretty hard lately!?? ha ha!  laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

Don, I don't know for sure what year this stsrted but for what its worth my Dad's 34 Master had the matching set which included a matching cigarette lighter. I beleive I've seen them on 33 also.

Well Chevy, it looks like too much Budweiser went to your head again. ha ha! Since you never seem to believe what I tell you (which is straight from original Chevrolet literature by the way) when you ask me a specific question, I think that you need to start doing your own research with original Chevrolet literature so that you will gain the valuable information that you need for your '32 Chevy. As we discussed before, Chevrolet literature is the most valuable and direct information that you can get when reseaching things for your car, not hearsay or opinions. The Chevrolet accessory catalogs show that the brake extension came out in late 1934 and it was used up through 1938. It was not used in 1932, 1933 or early 1934 (you could put one on these models, but it is not an accessory for those years according to Chevrolet literature). However, the matching cigarette lighter and the accessory gearshift ball were accessories for both 1932 and 1933. These various accessory catalogs are available in reprint from suppliers like the Filling Station so you might want to purchase a few for several different years and then you can gain some knowledge as to what accessory was used for what year. laugh laugh laugh laugh

WELL JUNKYARD DOG, ITS KIND OF LIKE THIS. IF I PUT ONE ON MY 32 CHEV, ITS LIKE IM STREET RODDING MY CAR AND IS NO DIFFERENT THEN IF I DROPPED A 350 ENGINE IN THE CAR, THEY TAKE POINTS OFF EITHER WAY IF I HAD THE CAR JUDGED.SO DONT PUT HIGHWAY GEARS IN THE CAR BECAUSE IT IS NOW NOT STOCK, SO IM STREET RODDING MY CHEV. NOW HOW MANY CARS DOES THAT PUT INTO THE STREET ROD CLASS??????????????   chevy chevy
