But I would give about a year's pay to peek under there.

Then it was the first with a belt....was also used in the Tempest/Lemans where it was most commonly found.

What engine did Pontiac use in the mid-engine Fiero?

The Fiero used a 2.5 L (151 cubic in) engine which was prone to catch fire. This same 4 cylinder engine was used in about 5% of all Camaros manufactured from 1982-1985.

In the last years the Fiero also used the 2.8 V6...Both the 2.5 Iron Duke 4 cylinder and the V6 were the same engines used in the X cars (Citation) and the Celebrity and many other GM models.

I am confused. How did a question regarding the last 6v car evolve into this lengthy dissertation on engines? I didn't think the 350's, the overhead cam engines, the Pontiac Fiero, etc.,had 6v systems. At least the ones I owned in these categories didn't!! I have been waiting to see what the JunkYardDogJunkYardDog has to say about all of this!!!.

At least the discussion stayed on cars and engines-that can't always be said for some others ;\)

MM..I definitely believe in evolution, Chevys will always be around although I don't believe that they evolve back to 6 volts
