What does it involve to change a 216 out with a 350 does it take some major working cuz im trying to keep the truck as original as possible but need more power if anyone can help thanx

It really takes a lot of work and parts probably cutting and welding to change out a 216 to a 350, and you didn't mention the tranny and driveline, etc. any of the inline sixes 235, 261, 292 and the GMC sixes would be able to deliver more power than your 47 with stock suspension needs.
