Below is a link to an informative article regarding the use of silicone brake fluid in an older chevy truck.

Thought it might be of interest to hear an experience from a fellow chevy owner. (Great idea Bill to post this here & Thanks Jim S. for sharing your story) \:\) \:\)

Good address Chevykid! and a super newsletter! Oh By the way an answer to one of the questions. "How to find a vacuum leak?" I use two ways, (1) if I don't mind a little mess, I spray a small amount of W-D40 (spray can)on connections and hoses with the engine idleing where the leak may be and when the W-D 40 is sucked into the engine it will pick up some RPMs,
ll) If you don't want a mess use a small propane torch without it being lighted in the same way, please do this OUTSIDE and not in the Garage because of the fire risk, that is why I preferr W-D40, some guys also use brake cleaner (alcohol)
