it is my understanding that impala and caprice were pretty much the same car - that being said i have a 69 impala with a 427 from the factory ---- hope this helps ---

Hi Red,

Yes, the engine will fit.

I hope you have the special intake manifold - otherwise, you will need to use "spacers".

Ahhhhh, do I detect a stroker motor being built????
