Thanks for the replies about build sheets for the 64 Impala. If the are not available, how about a window sticker, specifically engine size and options for this car. Hager

HI Hager,

The window sticker (Monroney Label) first appeared in the model year of 1959. A result of one Senator Monroney "most likely" getting burned by his local Chrysler Dealer.

The window sticker would list the options that the factory installed at the time of manufacture, but would not include accessories that the dealer may have installed.

An addendum window sticker would reflect the Dealer installed accessories.

There are several companies that will repo the window sticker for you - but you will need to supply them with the following info...

Selling Dealer name and address
VIN
accessories on your specific Chevy.

As you can see, you could add any accessories you wish - since this label is "after the fact" and will not reflect the original pedigree of your Chevy.

If you wish to purchase blank Monroney Labels, you can contact http://www.lategreatchevy.com

Oh, and one tip - don't use your computer's printer to make the label. You need a good 'ol fashioned typewriter. Laser and inkject printers didn't exist "back then", so an impact printer is more correct.
