Looking for info on how to find build sheet for my 64 SS Impala. I have decoded VIN numbers and now would like to find a copy of build sheet.

Hager, I have never seen a build sheet for a 64, I have found a few punch cards over th years they were behind the rear seat, but not every car i went through had them. The build sheet was a later thing. Why do you need to find it? Is there a question on the car?

Take a look behind the right front inner fender. I have found info stuck there with what looked like undercoat.

Ray, Did you see those sheets on a 64 or earlier?

Must have been on the 64 Impala convertible I restored as that is the only 60's car I have done. The 61 Impala convertible is in storage (original car) or I would check it.

Ray, all of the cars that I looked at here are east coast cars, I never saw the sheets on them, I only found the cards, goes to show you the differences from plant to plant. Always learning on these things, never know when something new will show up

Let me clear a point. It was a card that I found and not a BUILD SHEET. My mistake in not being specific.

Check Mar 88 G&D cover for the end result.

Ray, Now that makes more sense ;\) I never though the build sheet was used that early. I will have to go down to the garage and look at my old G&D's \:\) something I always enjoy. Thanks for clearing it up
