My uncle is restoring a 58 yeoman. He told me that only one frame was used for all passenger cars. The '58 frames are the same demensions. So the '58 frame should work on any '58 passenger cars. I'm just telling you what my uncle told me. i don't know anything about the '50's but My uncle is working on a '58 yeoman too. Just thought I'd pass along the info. 1948chevyman

Jeff City! No kidding! If your uncle wouldn't mind, give him my email address and phone #. I'd like to talk to him about his restoration. Maybe we can help each other out with parts, etc. http://www.Thr3wcoupe@cs.com 1-417-882-0238 I've got relatives up in Jeff. We usually go up every month or so. I've also got a nephew in Jeff. City looking for a 46/47/48 Chevy pick-up he can restore if you run accross anything. Thanks for the info. 48chevyman

Thanks bowtie & John. The 348 I found is NOT out of a truck as I previously thought. It's got a 4 barrel carb, but I didn't look at it closely enough to determine the manuf. I finished prepping the 58 frame for the sandblasters, it goes in tomarrow. (Caleb, the next time I see you, you're gettin' a "NOOGIE" from your 'ol uncle Lance!! You got that?? You know what that is ?? Huh?? I'll bet everybody else here does!!)
