I am looking for a supplier of a fuel tank for my 28 1-ton truck. It goes under the seat. I do not need a replica just something that will work. I have had no luck so far searching but there has to be a plastic tank or a Tractor fuel tank or something that will work. I also cant be the only one who has needed one.

here is my original rusted out one

Virtually any sheet metal bender can build you a new tank. They usually reuse your ends and filler neck and just roll out a new tank on their sheet metal break. Before it is closed up a pickup tube is installed, and tacked in place. I think the body man we often use said it would be about $200 to $250. Not out of reach.
