Help Please. I have a 'spring' with part number (2 # 3821966) that says "O Spring"" or "U Spring" on the label on the original green and white packaging. It's what I would call a "throttle return spring" for the throttle/carburetor linkage. As I recall, I bought it for my '55 two door post that had a 265 powerpak / 4 barrel motor with a three speed.
I have two questions. (1) Is that correct (265 PowerPak)?? And, presuming I'm correct that it's for a 1955 V-8, (2) what other years and (2 b.) what other 1955 motors will it also 'fit'???
It's a NOS item that I'd just as soon sell. What would a 'reasonable' price be for this NOS spring??

64 Chevelle with 4/4BC. $ .47 in 1978 is the last price I have. I should charge $ .50 each lookup to help pay for the books not to mention the time to look it up. Took four books to find that one.
