-J- Brown- Grease Monkey Registered: 04/18/04 Posts: 12 Loc: Romeo, Mi	I have a 49' 1/2 ton and my oil pan is leaking. I was wondering is it possible to drop the oil pan while the engine is in the car so i can fix the leak? -Justin

glyn Registered: 02/04/02 Posts: 1069 Loc: helena mt	Cannot emphasize enough that you spend $25 bucks or so and pick up a shop manual. When removing the pan from the 216 there are some oil troughs that have to be maintained in proper alignment.
