I've a '54 3/4 ton pickup and begun to fix it up. While it's essentially complete, it needs quite a bit of work. Once I've stipped everything such as the frame, axles, tie-rods, springs and brake flanges; I don't know what their original color was, or if it was left bare. Where can I find information about what colors items were painted, and where to get the paints? If they were left as bare metal, I'll likely paint them whith a color to give a bare metal look. Any suggestions would be helpful.
