I've got a 1948 convertible body that came out of a river-bed. I've been draging this thing around for about ten years, much to the humor of my wife and friends. Two years ago I found a guy who has a car which was put together with a convertible and a coupe. He gave me pictures on how this was done by chopping and welding upper body to lower body of coupe. The question is now that I have my coupe and are ready to proceed should I try to restore this to a original or modify considering the depth of the project? Has anyone else done this type of project? Any advice?
