In 1946 my father purchased a new 1946 Chevrolet two door sedan, his first new car. It replaced a Model A F*&#. He also purchased a couple of weeks later a 1946 F*&# sedan. He sold the F*&# and kept the Chevy. He for the past 40 years has owned F*&#s and not Chevys but his son is an avid Chevrolet owner. Go figure. In order to try to restore sanity to the family I would like to find purchase and present a '46 Chevy to the attempt to restore his sanity.

Don't know where you are located in The Great State of Texas, but I saw some kind of late-model 40's Chevy settin' behind a fence near Alvarado.

It is a coupe, sorta black. That's all I got as we were flyin' by at 65 mph headed south on 35 West out of Fort Worth. It sets on the right side headed south.
