I am installing a 48 motor into a 38 roadster. There are a lot of internal differences but it is in place though it was reluctant to slip onto the 38 gear box. I now find that the sump which differs in shape sits hard up against the gearbox cross member but I think that with some minor reworking of either the sump or the cross member it will clear.
Does anyone know of any other problems that may appear?
Thanks
