Can anyone give me the total production number of a 1934 Chevy Master Sport Sedan, body number 34-569? I also need a passenger tail light, 2 sets of trunk latch/locks, the dash "spears" with lighter. Thank you.

In CANADA GM produced a 34-569 5 pass spec CC sedan ( trunk ) they made 1105 and exported 163 LHD and 8 RHD

The dash cigar lighter is an option and the center spear has a round hole in it for the lighter mount to pass thru. The non lighter dashes were 3 straight pieces. There is a dash on ebay now with the spears.

The right fender mount side tail light arm is made repo now and appears on ebay. Believe I AND I repo in calif offer the tail light pot and lens along with a special block off part to cover the bulb opening.

Hi Mike:

Thanks for the response. This car was built in Kansas CIty USA. Is the production number still the same? This car's tail light is a verticle mast that holds the tail light pot. The mast mounts on the bumper bracket through bolt that goes into the corner of the frame rails. I have new glass lenses and the chrome rings. This car came with a cigar lighter and several other options. Jim

Yes its a FISHER BUILT BODY so carries the same design number.

Nobody makes the 34 master tail light STAND from the bumper as you need. Its GM part number """ bracket, right hand tail and stop lamp ( town sedan ) 1934 DA .65 cents part number 364995""" from 1934 chevrolet parts book.

The master in 1934 outsold the standard series 5--1 so you have a good chance of finding the RIGHT SIDE tail light arm.

Just keep watching ebay USA daily, the NEWEST LISTING and sooner or later one will show up to bid on.

The cigar lighter 3 spears.....a set of those sold on ebay in the last 9 months as i was watching them and going to take a shot at them around $100---125, but i already have the non lighter spears for my 34 master dash and really did not want to get into the expense of finding a 34 master cigar lighter receptacle , knob and element. I did see one appear NOS on ebay in last year or so. Cannot remember what it sold for on auction.

Try a wanted ad in the VCCA generator and distributor magazine and also the wanted section on this site.

Your tail light lenses should have the chevrolet script in them and if you want to get really nit picky, below the chevrolet should be an almost yellow colour in the glass. Just hold it up to the light and see. I like it better than the repo ones and the red glass is lighter making you much more visable when you stomp the brake pedal.

Vent window INSECT SCREENS are a rare option for these masters as is the fender skirts and lighted extendable FENDER MARKERS.

Thanks for the response. 1393 is the number after the "K". I am in dire need of a complete passenger side tail light assembly, cigar lighter w/"spears", 2 complete sets of trunk latch/locks, and a pair of unpitted headlight mount bars. JIM

The right hand tail light stand is very hard to fine. Very few were equipped with the right lamp. I did find a new accessory kit for my 1934 (lamp, atand and special gromet) but this was about 40 years ago. It has been the only one that I have ever seen.
Only the center spear above and below the lighter is special for the lighter. It is cast where as the outter ones are stamped aas is the center one with no lighter.

The trunk latch assembly and the trunk hinges are being reproduced by the 1933 buick registry. These are the same as the 1934 Chevrolet 4 door Sport sedan with the small trunk lid. These parts are very hard to find. I lucked out and found a NOS pair of the latches on ebay. I also needed hinges which they just started making after I got enough used pieces to get a pair of platable hinges. The Latches are very pricy but they are very rare. These parts also were used on the Buick 40 series and Pontiac with the small trunk lid. Mine are on a 1935 Buick 40 series. Chuick

If they are that rare , then you may want to consider borrowing one from somebody and then have them made in a small casting run, then sell the excess for a small profit.

I know that i have talked to these people a few times at the swap meet in Toronto Ontario Canada

by getting some made **as cast** and not plated would be much more affordable. Once you get a price then you can see if you can find others who also need the metal stand and take orders. ???

Probably somebody reading this will post about some USA based small parts casters.

Myself i need 3 more gooseneck style fog/driving light mounting assembly, same as whats used on the guide DELUXE fog lamp.
