This looks like the heater I have in my '37 Chev Master Deluxe, which I think was originally installed with the car, probably by the dealer. The car is in the barn for the winter so I can't go quickly check. Sorry.

This heater is definitely correct for 1940 Chevrolets. This heater is shown in the 1940 accessory booklet. In 1940 there were 2 heaters that fit on the firewall, the Super Deluxe heater and this one that you have displayed, a 1940 De-luxe heater. It is NOT correct original equipment for 1941.
