I exchanged an email with the buyer and that price is not his reserve as he is looking for a bit more. The figure of 543 is correct for the total production run of Phaetons in 1933 for the Master line. With six wheels, the proudction run dropped to only 12. I am fortunate to be working on another one of the twelve here in NJ (car was always from NJ). The ebay listing does need major work as you can see the significant rot on the front edge of the fender alone......
The restored one that was on ebay is still for sale privately and the owner is not going to take less than $57 for it. It was also a poor restoration done with many incorrect parts, many many years ago. A properly restored model a few years ago with six wheels was worth around $70k from what I've seen.
Hope that helps.
