The hose for the cowl vent drain is missing on my '41 coupe. When I put one one, where does the other end go, out thru a hole in the firewall? If so, which one? Chev's of the 40's has a chart showing the various holes and the grommets for them, but unless I'm missing something, there is no mention of where the drain hose would come out. I noticed that they also sell a molded hose for the drain.
Thanks,
Sid

Hole is to the left side (drivers) of electro-lock cable.
FYI when you paint the steering column the shifting mechanism and the clamp at the steering box are also tan. The large shift lever is cad plated.

The drain hose exits through the firewall towards the drivers side of the large center hole. It does not use a gromet and the hose fits tight in the hole. It will drip water down behind the valve cover. The original was moulded.

Thanks Jay and Chevgene, the hole to the driver's side of the large center hole now has the vacuum wiper hose coming thru it. Apparently the wiper hose should be located further over on the driver's side?
Thanks,
Sid
