pigs
I need a 3 speed transmission for my truck! They're about as common as flying pigs, I guess, because the case is different from all 36 cars, due to the fact that the e-brake and pedal assemblies bolt on to the sides of the trans case. Chevrolet part number for the whole shebang is 590796, and the case is either casting #590531 or 590715--I can't be sure because I've NEVER SEEN ONE--I have a 4 speed it it now, which I am anxious to turn into a boat anchor.

If you have one, or can refer me to someone who has one, or even might have one, you would be held in high esteem--by me!

Thanks a truckload,
Wally

I have a 1936 4 speed transmission, I think it was from an R series truck that was made into a tractor. I never intended to use it but I wonder what is so bad about this 4 speed that you want to turn into a boat anchor.

Found one! cool The correct case casting number is 590715, for anyone else looking.
