To many cars! Selling my all original 1959 Chevrolet Belair . I bought this car over ten years ago just as a fun car to drive. I opted for a four door because it's easier for everybody to get in and out of. Originally out of North Carolina, I picked it up from a guy in Tennessee. I flew into the Knoxville airport at 1100 at night and got in the car and drove it home. It still had the original bias ply tires on it which I have replaced with radials.
The Chevy has a 283 V8 which runs great hooked up to a Powerglide. I got over twenty miles to the gallon on the trip home driving 80 mph on the interstate. I did have to replace the waterpump in Columbia, MO when it failed but other than that the car ran perfect. I have done nothing to the car other than the waterpump, tires, rear shocks and adding factory correct power steering and power brakes.
When I bought the Belair it had just under 78000 miles and now has about 87000 give or take a few. And yes it's original paint which is not perfect but in amazing condition. The best part is NO rust. The interior is in good condition with wear as would be expected on a low mileage car. The front seat vinyl portion was replaced but the fabric part is original. I have no fears of getting in and driving this car anywhere. I'm selling it because I just don't drive it enough and I could really use the parking spot.
The only things I know which are wrong with the car are the gas guage works off and on, probably a ground problem. The drivers side passenger window has a crack but still works fine. It also needs the original muffler replaced but I have an NOS muffler I'll include. Also this last year I purchased a car cover even though it's parked inside which will go with.
You could do like I did when I bought it by flying in and drive home. This car floats down the road and it's real fun to drive and a head turner. You just don't see many 1959 Chevrolets on the road anymore. If needed, the Bel Air can stay parked here tucked away inside until spring. As for price, I'm asking $7500 for this all original beauty. I'm open to reasonable offers and can get more pictures if you're really interested.

I've had several people ask for more pictures, so here ya go. I fired it up yesterday but didn't dust the car off so it's a bit dirty. This would make a great HPOCF car.
