What type of seating was original to 34/35 sedan deliveries?
One bucket? two buckets? Folding? Driver and Passenger different? Bench?
Would love to see some pics if any are available.
Thanks in advance.

Pictures are difficult to find. The seats are initation leather buckets. There are the same as a 1934/1935 coach usually. What do you have? A 34570 or a 35-1271A.....Joe

Any of the pictures of 1934 1935 chevrolet standard series sedan deliveries i have found on people selling the vehicle on ebay are usually just pictures of the body , nothing of the interiors.

My GM Canada production sheets show the 1934 master model #177 fisher JOB # 34--570, they built 128 cars for domestic sales and one right hand drive for export

For the standard series 1934 standard model SERIES 200 none were produced here. For the 1934-B 1200 model series none are shown as produced here.
For 1935 standard series model #12-71 sedan delivery Fisher job # 35-1271 they produced 229 vehicles and one left hand drive for export.

according to the factory production sheets i have there is a special notation as *** B *** " woodstock purchase, body built, painted and trimmed locally ". What that means is that this is not a fisher built body but was assembled in another place ( woodstock ontario )and then the body was shipped to GM Oshawa Ont to be completed on the production line

But yet the GM factory sheets carry the model #177 and the *fisher* job #34-570.

Question does your right lower cowl section carry the fisher body emblem ??

Ah ha, so you have a Canuck escapee , any idea of how it ( one of 128 built ) managed to work its way south .

Funny how the factory production sheets went to the trouble of listing the bodys were acquired and built in another location and were not fisher, yet yours has the fisher plaque.

We've kind of hi-jacked this post. Here's the story. The car was used in Neepawa by a company. Historians have tried to make out what lettering is still left on the side but can't determine who the company was. At one point somebody attempted to make a street rod. A man from the Washington area new of it & a buyer, Ron Leventon so they connected. It was brought through in North Dakota & inspected & titled. I purchased it from Ron a few year back & have been trying to collect any information to restore this car back to Canadian. I have aquired alot of the parts & quite alot of knowledge to do the car. I do know the car was Oshawa blue with black fenders & wheels. Ontario blue side panels & medium cream pin striping.
That is how you get a Canadian 177/34570 from Neepawa to Tucson Arizona. What do you think...EH?....Joe

The original question was answered with the first reply.

Never heard of NEEPAWA, googled it, turns out its in the province of Manitoba Canada and sits right in the middle of Indian property. Town is only roughly 4000 so pop in the 30's would not have been very high . Maybe some history research of businesses operating back then might help in finding out who owned vehicle back then. Apparently the town is very famous for its Lilies. Maybe your 34 SD was used in the floral business. ?? EH ?

I have an Unmolested 1935 Chevy Panel Truck, been in a barn since 1941 when I purchased it.
It has Only One Seat in front, bucket style, but all that is left is springs & metal bucket. Passenger side has a floor tool box.
I'm still trying to decide on restoration to original, hot rod, or put up For Sale....

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Pretty sure i spotted a NEW OLD STOCK panel truck rear fender on ebay usa other day. Its a very unusual looking fender. I would make every effort to buy that fender because they are so rare, in NOS form.

Todd,
That sounds like a very cool vehicle. Please don't be offended, but you do know the difference between a sedan delivery and a panel truck, don't you?

I found that NOS 1934 --- 1936 chevrolet panel truck rear fender on ebay usa. Believe irt was a right rear. Its ad title is " 1934-1936 chevrolet panel or suburban nos rear fender , Price is $500, its in eagle wisc., seller is bribbich1948, auction ends january 29 and its item # 260940567750 .

I know , i know, do i get a prize????? pineapple
sedan delivery has single rear door and looks like a 2 door sedan passenger car.
panel delivery has double rear doors and all the styling is truck based.

Mike,
I posed the question to Todd because he had mentioned his panel on the sedan delivery thread.
It's surprising to me how many "seasoned" car guys do not know the difference.

Hi Todd, I finally got my problem figured out with why I could not access VCCA. It seems that "Internet Explorer" was the cause. Changed browsers and everything seems to work. Just checking to see if you were ever able to measure the seat bottoms for your panel truck. I have the seat backs but need to figure out what it is I need to find for my 1936 1.5 ton panel truck.
