Did Chevrolet dealers service individual wire ends? I know that most are available from different vendors. I have also wondered about the thick insulation that was used over the crimp of the connector as to how it was serviced. I have been using multiple layers of modern shrink tubing to make things look some better. The modern nylon coated terminals just don't do it for me.
Thanks
Don

I use the modern terminals after removing the plastic/nylon junk they put on them. (Can't stand the blue). I then use the shrink tubing to finish off the joint at the terminal. Looks very good when finished.

If I had known that growing old would be this much fun---I'd have done it sooner!

You can also buy the terminals without the plastic insulators. They are made for soldering and when shrink tubing is used the terminal ends look like factory.
