Been pondering how a 216 was performance enhanced "old school" style back in the 40s or 50s. Usually involved split manifolds. Here is one from GM. Can you suggest any literature to learn more on enhancing a 37 216? Or any year 216?
How does the 40 timing gear change or improve valve timing? What about a different camshaft?
Anyone else out there that has been there, done that?
