I am attempting to avoid a conflict in dates for 2013. Our Daughter Kelly became engaged two weeks ago. Since she is a school teacher she wants a summer wedding. She is closing in on July. Can anyone help me with the dates of the 50th Central Meet ? Location ( general area ) ? Thanks !!!

The 2013 Central Meet is being planned, but a secure date has not been determined yet. As many of you know, the date of a major meet depends alot on obtaining a secure date and price from the host hotel. Stay tuned for more details to come....... in a few months.

No, the 50th Central Meet hasn't been set in stone as of this date. The Meet is planned for Port Huron. The original holdup was because the Hotel was being sold but that has been completed and the hotel is set. Next problem is that the Port Huron to Machinaw Island yearly Sail Boat Race is the third weekend in July. Mike McFarland is the Chair and he's looking at the 4th of July week as a possibility but that isn't confirmed. He's working with the Hotel and the Chamber of Commerce on these issues. Prompted by your request, I just got off the phone with him. Sorry I can't give you a better answer at this time.
