Tried to honk the horns. Applied juice, the horns "thump" but no vibrated. Removed juice, "click". It sounded as contact closed then opened. Suggestions??? When I received the horns they were apart to be painted. I put them back together. Looked right. Any adjustment? Looked in the manual but found nothing.

Is there an adjustment screw on the outside of them...? I'm not sure if "ours" do . Anytime I've had trouble that's where I go to "tune-up" the horns...Don't know if that's a manual worthy item...

Pretty sure all models have two. A hi and a low. Mine does! No new relay. Old one checked just fine. Juice to horn just fine. Look in through the grill. Should be one up about 2 and 10 O'Clock.

Yes, there is an adjustment, but it's inside. You remove the top cover of the horn - there is a screw at the top center. Inside there are two nuts in the center of the assembly that adjust the contact points. You kind of have to play with them to get the horns to sound. You'll also want to make sure the horn contacts inside are clean. Do you have everything installed? Not sure how easy this job is if you've already installed the grill...

I would try to adjust the horns out on a work bench. You can use a six volt battery with jumper cables. The most important thing is to get a good ground on the horn. With the horn cover off you can clean things up and fine tune the adjustments easily. Usually when you reinstall the horn you will find it is louder than what it was out of the car because the grounding is better. This is also a good time to paint everything. Good luck, Mike

P.S. The clicking noise you heard could have been just caused by a bad grounding of the horns where they are attached to the inner fenders/grill?
