can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between 1/2 3/4 and big truck front fenders . i picked up a new one with #3666116 wrote on it .does this number help ? and can i undercoat the underside without being marked down in points ? thanks hairball48625

I find no record of that part number.
1/2 ton and 3/4 ton fenders are the same.

If you can wait a couple of days I can get mine out of storage and measure them. They are for a 1/2 ton. The fenders for the 1/2 and 3/4 ton are the same.

Which side do you have?

The part numbers shown in the 1929-1950 Master Parts Catalog for 1941-1946 1/2 ton and 3/4 trucks are:
Left front--3664961

Right front--3664962

I have been unable to get to my fenders. Maybe one of the other guys that has more ready access can help with measurements.
